A friend of mine is, shall we say, dealing with some difficult personal affairs. I wanted to ask if you'd be willing to work on a nice beef stew that I can share with him?
normally, i'd say free of charge but i actually do have something to ask someone of your expertise. i have a friend who was hurt pretty badly just before we came here — a large slash right across his chest. he's recovered from it for the most part, but it was a pretty severe injury and i know he probably isn't looking after it. i was wondering if you know of any recommended ointments or treatments to help with the healing.
Quite all right. I'm happy to lend my insight. As a matter of fact, I have my own stock of healing aids.
I can make you a list and something of a "care basket" with instructions of what to look out for and ow to tend to your friend in turn. If you have any questions, you can always ask me, and I'd even be fine with visiting him. That's assuming he isn't so self-assured that he wouldn't let me look, of course.
some kind of care basket would be great. he's a bit of a stubborn idiot but i'm responsible for him so i'd be really grateful for anything that could help in treating him.
a check up would probably do him some good too if you ever had the time to spare. have you met roronoa zoro? moss-headed swordsman with three earrings?
I appreciate that. This is some new territory for me, honestly.
Of course, I'd be glad to get something together.
I think that might be a good idea, just to be sure that he's healing well. I've seen his riveting profile on the network, but beyond that we've never spoken.
well, if there's anything else i can provide in the way of food to help make it better, i'll take on any request, any time.
or even beyond food. i'm here as a friend too.
[ food might be his primary love language, but he likes to believe he's good with people too.
even if the subject in question that he's bringing up on his end is sometimes plenty of a challenge in dealing with. ]
i'll warn you, zoro's deeply and annoyingly stubborn. if you tell him i referred you, he'd probably resist even more. but he's not a bad guy and he's important [ to me? no. ] to my crew, so any help in just making sure he's alright would be appreciated.
That's very considerate of you, Sanji. ...Friendship is something of a new ordeal and I'll admit I'm not sure if I'm doing the right things, but all things worth trying can be difficult.
Of course. Fortunately, I'm used to some pretty stubborn patients. We'll see how obnoxious he ends up being.

I wanted to inquire about asking for a favor, if you have the time.

but sometimes a good meal does wonders for adding a nice spark of light. i'd be happy to do it.

Thank you, Sanji. Is there anything I can do in return?
