fine
[ it really wasn't the time to be bickering about it, regardless of tension; so long as they were both looking, he didn't give a shit who was close, and who looked further out.
idiot better watch his back out there. zoro nearly typed as much, but thought better of it, shoving the phone away before heading out the door. ]

( yeah, he sounds like she just woke him up. answering a question with a questionโwanda knows how selfless he is, and feels a touch bad about it, but also imagined that he worried more, her not being back yet. )
There was an accident at work. A water pipe exploded and the ceiling caved in. I'm alright, just wet.
( thus, the sniffling. she feels cold. )
I'm on my way back.

( sanji doesn't know this, would never know, how his reaction takes her aback. once upon a time, pietro would throw similar questions into the fray, demanding answers, ready to pick up a fight with the bully that pushed her or made her cry in the playgroundโit feels like more than what she deserves.
calling him on purpose, knowing that he'd react like this to an extent, liking that she has someone to call; someone to worry for her, someone who cares.
her laugh is watery, soft, as he continues with his questions, only for her to say, )
Can you have some tea ready for when I get back?
( it doesn't answer all of his questions, but it should tell him what he needs to know: she will get herself back to the motel, and she is okay enough to do so. )

Yeah.
( she, too, remembers to breathe, past the slew of emotions that this has brought up. )
I'm just wet, I promise I'm okay. Sorry that I worried you. I'll be there in about ten minutes.
( and the way wanda can keep that promise of being there in that amount of time is if she says see you in a bit and hangs up, getting onto her motorcycle and starting it upโmaking her way through the mostly empty streets towards the direction of the motel that she has come to see as home. she'll park in the usual place, in the motel's parking area, and walk with heavy, damp steps towards the stairs, arms wrapped tightly around herself as if this would stave off the bone-chilling cold she feels.
making it to the door of room 203, she tries the door handle before her keys, figuring sanji would have opened it for her. she opens it slowly, looking inside. )

( his scrambling about doesn't escape her, all the noise that he makes for it, and wanda braces for it. except, there's nothing to brace for, but for sanji's kindness, the care in his words, how welcome the towel he procures for her feels. )
I didn't want to worry you.
( even if she, effectively, did. the fact that he's still in his day clothes tells her that he had been worried, regardless, and had wanted to stay up and wait for her to come back. her hands move up to grab hold of the towel and presses her it to her face to dry off properly.
glancing over at the counter, she spots the cup of tea, and makes her way there, dripping some drops water as she goes. the only reason she won't sit just yet is because wanda would rather shower and get into some dry clothes, first. she will, however, take a sip or two of the tea. )
I'm going to shower quickly and change โ thank you, the tea is perfect.
( perfectly steeped, and holding onto a perfect temperature.
setting it back down, she will head to the closet to grab something dry to change into, but not before grabbing hold of his hand and squeezing it. )
See? I'm fine.
( with that, she'll head into the bathroom to rid herself of her wet clothes, socks, and shoes. the shower will be turned on, lukewarm water chasing the cold away, and she's coming back out in her loose pajama shorts and a baggy sweater as quick as she can make it. her hair remains partly wrapped in a towel.
now, wanda will take a seat at the table, bringing her feet up to try and make herself small. )
I think I need to stop taking odd jobs.

[This is very covert of him. Very sneaky. Very secret mission.
... Except not really. Sometime during October's earlier, cooler days, Jinu has formulated part of a plan. A loose, very haphazard plan that he frets he'll abandon if he doesn't lock in and focus. No doubts, no second-guessing, just action โ after months of doubts, second-guessing, and inaction.
A knock comes to Sanji's door, and when the blonde answers, he'll find Jinu in a hoodie, holding up a wad of joolies like this is a drug transaction.]
How much per hour are you for cooking lessons?
